Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
The general idea behind this type of bankruptcy is that the trustee who is assigned by the bankruptcy court will liquidate or sell all of the person’s assets and use the proceeds to pay debts, and whatever debt remains unpaid is forgiven or discharged. In actual practice; however, most people who file a Chapter 7 petition retain all of their assets due to the availability of exemptions that protect certain assets from liquidation.
You have been nothing but EXCEPTIONAL!!!! I went through the longest, stressful and emotional 7 days of my life. Through the whole ordeal, you were always 100 steps ahead and handled my case with the family court, DAs office and Sheriff dept with such professionalism and you kept me sane and explained every process, conversation and paperwork in detail. You worked diligently day and night for the safe return of my son and I will forever be grateful to you. I can't stress enough what an amazing attorney you are! Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication!–C. D., Sacramento
You have been incredibly proactive in helping me sort out this custody modification.
